AstroMat Poster at LPSC 2022

On Monday, March 7th, 2022, AstroMat Project Director, Kerstin Lehnert and Project Manager, Jennifer Mays presented a poster at the 2022 Lunar and Planetary Science Conference in session (M204): Analysis and Curation of Pristine Returned Samples from Ryugu, Bennu, and More. The presentation highlighted features of AstroMat in the context of new NASA strategy for Open Data. See the poster abstract for more information: Managing Analytical Data from Pristine Returned Samples in Compliance with NASA's Data Strategy: The Astromaterials Data System.

Astromaterials Data System Community Workshop Available Online

The Astromaterials Data System (AstroMat) hosted a virtual workshop on December 6, 2021. AstroMat PI, Kerstin Lehnert, shared an introduction to the system, followed by a demo of the AstroMat Search app (AstroSearch) by AstroMat Project Manager, Jennifer Mays. The demo highlighted the functions and features of the app including the ability to filter data by material type, analysis type, and analytical variables. It showed how AstroSearch is a powerful tool to discover astromaterials geochemical data across the scientific literature from the past 50 years.
