AstroMat @ AGU Fall Meeting 2022

NASA Special Study Report on the Requirements for Archiving Astromaterials Samples Data Published

In March 2022, NASA commissioned the Astromaterials Data Archiving (ADA) Special Study to gather requirements for the archiving of astromaterials samples data that can fulfill the demands of NASA’s Open Science and data archiving policies, international repository standards, and FAIR principles. The Special Study gathered, analyzed, and synthesized the perspectives of diverse members of the astromaterials samples data community. Access the Special Study Report here.

AstroMat Search Application v2.2 Released

AstroMat’s large data synthesis that contain compositional data for NASA’s astromaterials collections can be accessed and explored online via the AstroMat Search Application. Version 2.2 of the application was released earlier this year with improvements for variable selections and an optional guided walk through. Please check it out and provide feedback on usability or available content.
